37-Year-Old Shot-Stopper Announces End of Playing Career

Former England International Retires After 20 Years Between the Posts

Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has announced that he will retire at the end of the season. The 37-year-old joined Celtic in 2021 from Tottenham and has won a clean sweep of Scottish domestic trophies during his time at the club.

Hart, who has made 75 appearances for England, said he feels "physically great" but wants to "smash through the finish" of the season before hanging up his boots.

Hart's retirement brings to an end a 20-year career which has seen him play for Manchester City, Birmingham City, Burnley, Torino, West Ham United and Tottenham.
